Alaska Mining Rush of '79...and now it's time again— Page 3 of 5
So, rather than go on, and on, trying to explain about “energy” companies called Enron, and big hyphen-named oil companies (wish we could vote for Teddy Roosevelt and the Bull Moose Party) supporting so-called environmentalists to keep Alaskan oil off the “free” market, let me slip in some wicked rumors—thanks to the freedom of publishing on the Internet— that Ken Lay has been spotted dressed as a transgendered woman in Alice, Australia, and that Haliburton always has had “In Allah We Trust,” printed on their stock certificates, as following the money, they are the only ones to have benefitted from George Armstrong Bush’s Iraq fiasco.

Ophir Alaska Prospecting Expedition 3Enough! What does this anger have to do with mining cycles. How about this? All of the manipulated housing market devaluation— almost the beginning of a class war— coupled with recent revelations of global warming, has been exposing environmental concerns of the consumers living in mansions in Beverly Hills in huge houses supported by fleets of SUV’s, almost to be fraud.

This club contains the “political correct,” holier-than-thou, desert living (include Loss Vegas and Phoenix) supporting a “green” lifestyle means stealing water from the Colorado to water gold courses until there are concerns the flow is not enough to cleanse sewage from what is sent downstream into Mexico.

In the American Desert where does the mineral resource —water— best benefitting agriculture and global cooling end up? Eight percent of all the water used in Nevada is wasted on supporting a lavish eight miles of Las Vegas Boulevard. Yet, in the name of ecological righteous the “green people,” of Vegas (a strong chapter of the Sierra Club) pressured the BLM to cut back on AUMs (don’t know what those are?... then shut up city boy about the harm cowboys and miners have done to the frontier) which led to ranches in Northern Nevada selling their water rights out to Loss Vegas, 250 pipeline miles away (a pipeline is a pipeline for God’s sake).

Once any economic advantage of any working person benefiting from the natural world of wealth promised in the Bible (either grown or, or mined—not just shuffling paper) has been totally destroyed, the same people that buy Sierra Club calendars, somehow get a tax write-off, besides their Hum-vees, when buying that same “vacation ranch,” being rewarded with a “conservancy” tax break, large enough to build that private landing strips long enough to land global warming corporate jets.
