Alaska Mining Rush of '79...and now it's time again— Page 5 of 5
Or realizing that stockbroker controlled multinational mining corporations have followed American industry off to anyplace that allows the exploitation of labor to exploit common shareholders by manipulation of profit and loss charts? My thinking —taken with a grain of salt as I am just a simple Alaskan prospector who did not go the Yale, or Harvard, or any ivy league school of business— is that when investors realize that a chart mapping the price of oil has been echoing, low point, for high point, with the spot value (let alone society's need for, especially for environmental control) of the Alaskan minerals as gold, silver, zinc, copper, lead, will lead to yet another, predictable, rush North to Alaska. Just as happened in 1898, 1920, 1935, 1955, 1979, and.... 2007? |
